I am a finance professional turned into certified yoga teacher. I teach combination of hatha and vinyasa yoga with basics of alignment in poses and specialize in sequencing classes and modifications based on need of students.
I am 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher from Aham Yoga in Redmond and pursuing 300 Hour Teacher Training currently.
I was introduced to yoga 17 years ago through a gym yoga class where the instructor was teaching alignment of body in pose and explaining the benefits of each pose and this got me hooked. I remember how hard holding downward facing dog (adhomukha svanasana). I practiced for two years and then left my practice to take care of family and career and ten years after came back to yoga.
I loved how my body felt after each class and started getting stronger and start getting deeper in practice. I became calmer and focused. I was amazed how good my body felt and wanted to bring the same feeling to others and so decided to do my teacher training and start teaching. I am very passionate about teaching yoga and always looking for fun and creative ways to help students experience yoga.
